Lawrence L. Garcia

Lawrence (Larry) Garcia began his law career at the University of Houston, Bates College of Law, where he participated in national competitions with the Moot Court team and was inducted into the National Order of Barristers. He received his J.D. in 1979. The following year, Larry established a legal practice in San Antonio and quickly earned the reputation as a tough litigator and fierce advocate for his clients' rights. He is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Criminal Law (1986) and Family Law (1988) and has served as past president of the San Antonio Family Lawyer's Association. But, in light of Larry's numerous professional achievements and hard-hitting court tactics, he remains a man of compassion and faith. Some of his greatest joys in life come from spending time with his family and serving as a pastor for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in South Texas. He is also a veteran of the United States Army.
